Andrew Beneze | The Guy in Charge | Next Edge Video Founder & CEO
(He still uses Production Director on his cards. No one knows why.)
Relax, “He’s got this.”
Andrew’s award-winning television career began 30 years ago in Corpus Christi, Texas. After a short stint with NBC and the No. 2 rated newscast, and armed with a Film & Television degree from Texas Christian University, Andrew became as famous for his news photography and editing skills as he did for being the only person in this breezy beach town to brazenly wear a suit and walk into the #1 News Station (KIII-ABC) without an appointment, to declare himself the photographer they had been waiting for. Whether it was the suit, or simply the General Manager being too stunned to turn Andrew away, one young man found himself working at the No.1 station that day and increased his salary from $11,000 to a whopping $14,000 a year. Ah, the good old days!
It wasn’t long before Andrew found himself in the top 10, otherwise known as the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas television market. Over the years, he worked for NBC, CBS and FOX, earning fancy titles like Director of Photography along the way and collecting some of the most prestigious awards in the business, including the Edward R. Murrow Award, personally handed to him by Walter Cronkite.
Fast-forward three decades when his broadcast television experience found a perfect place alongside corporate America. In working with companies like American Airlines, Jobing.com, American Express, Chase Bank and Sunstate Equipment, with a strong background in television production and corporate training and branding video production, Next Edge Video was born.
When he’s not busy on location, behind the lens, overseeing an edit, meeting clients, interviewing talent, tracking commercials and filling the refrigerator with water bottles; he enjoys hiking with his precious puppies, tennis and following the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and the TCU Horned Frogs.
If Andrew and his wife and his dogs were on a boat…

Fun Fact: Growing up in a Air Force family, Andrew moved frequently, attending 3 schools in the 3rd grade in Okinawa, the Japanese mainland and the U.S. He wore a bow tie and carried a briefcase. He laments that fashion has changed.
Mo – Just ‘Mo’ | Lead Wordsmith/Professional Thinker | Next Edge Creative Director
“Some call it intensity. She calls it passion.”
“So, you need a backstory for the poker playing Tyrannosaurus Rex? That’s the one wearing sunglasses, headphones and a fedora, right? I’m on it.”
Short zippy intros or three hour long training video scripts; Mo is a one-woman content machine. Fueled by her grandfather’s legacy, coffee and the ghost of the 5th grade spelling bee still haunting her, she is a whirlwind in pre and post-production. When she is on your team, no request is too out there. Serious or seriously funny, she makes it happen.

The Rest of the Story
Mo is fond of telling people when her actual career, or destiny, as she calls it, began. At the tender age of 10, she wrote and illustrated her first book, which went on to win the Young Author of the Year Award. Around that time, she found a love for local news along with a little show called 60 Minutes and declared she was going to work in television. That is exactly what she did. She knew her dreams had come true when she looked down at a confetti-covered football field during her first big assignment; Super Bowl XXX in Phoenix between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers, and yelled to no one in particular, “This is AWESOME.”
When she’s not busy typing with her head buried in her laptop, adding to her ever growing stack of post-its, eyeballing post-production or talking to clients about the big ideas, she enjoys: football, playing Texas Hold’ Em, beating everyone at Scrabble, listening to 80’s music and watching reality television. Being a straight shooter, she doesn’t even bother to qualify that by calling it a “guilty indulgence.” And, for the record, she’s ‘Team Vanderpump’ all the way.
Fun Fact: Filled with the entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, Mo once went door to door attempting to sell her brother’s toys out of a red wagon. He forgave her after getting her back by charging admission to her birthday party. They are still best friends and now settle things in a more mature manner – light saber duels.
